Chinaza Uche - “Ikenna”

Chinaza Uche is starring in a new Apple TV plus series Silo alongside Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Robbins, David Oyelowo, Common and Rashida Jones. He also starred in the feature film A Good Person which he received a Scottish Bafta nomination for Best Actor in a film. It was written and directed by Zach Braff and co-starred Morgan Freeman, Florence Pugh Celeste O'Connor and Molly Shannon. On television he starred in the Apple TV+ series Dickinson alongside Hailee Steinfeld and Jane Krakowski. He's made guest-star appearances on Blue Bloods, The Blacklist, Deception, Golden Boy, Little America and Fear The Walking Dead. He also starred in the feature film Nigerian Prince that premiered at the Tribeca film Festival. He was last seen on stage in Clubbed Thumb's New York Time Critics pick Tumacho. His other Theater credits include the New York Time's critics pick Sojourners/Her Portmanteau at New York Theatre Workshop; Sugar in Our Wounds at Manhattan Theatre Club (Audelco win: Best Ensemble); Dolphins and Sharks at the Labyrinth Theatre Company; The Last Saint On Sugar Hill at the National Black Theatre and many others. He is a graduate of the Experimental Theatre Wing and The Classical Studio at the Tisch School of Drama.

 

Caitlin Zoz - “Mel”

Caitlin Zoz is a New York and London based artist. She has worked continuously for 15 years as an actor, director, voice over artist and in theatrical production. She is currently appearing on the Apple TV+ series Silo alongside Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Robbins, David Oyelowo, Common and Rashida Jones. She was a lead and producer on the feature film How to Rob which got into the Boston Independent film festival and the New Hampshire Film festival. She has been seen on stage in New York and regionally in productions of All of My Blood (Dir. Taylor Haven Holt) The Witch of St. Elmora Street (writer: Joey Merlo) Inside, Broken City (PopUP Theatrics), Dance Dance Revolution (Dir. Alex Timbers) and The Wolves (TheaterWorks Hartford, CT Critics Award Best Ensemble). She assisted Neil Mazzella and Sam Ellis at Hudson Theatrical Studios on more than 20 Broadway productions including Fela!, Porgy and Bess, The Glass Menagerie and Glengarry Glen Ross. She is a graduate of the Experimental Theatre Wing at the Tisch School of the Arts.

 

Sathya Sridharan - “Arjun”

Sathya Sridharan is a New York based actor and writer. Film credits include Minor Premise (dir Eric Schultz, Fantasia Festival 2020), Black and White and Red All Over (dir. Oliver Dungey, upcoming), Bikini Moon (dir Milcho Manchevski, Cinequest, Sao Paolo Film Festival), All The Things We Kill (dir. Adam Neutzsky-Wulff), Dastaar (SXSW), Tourists (Nantucket, CAAM, SFAAM), Coup! (IndieShorts Fest), and Thirdy. Television credits include “Succession” (HBO), “Two Sentence Horror Stories”(CW) “Blindspot” (NBC), “Elementary”, “The Blacklist” (CBS), “Younger” (TVLand). Sathya has worked Off-Broadway at Playwright’s Horizons, the Public Theater, Manhattan Theater Club, and New York Theater Workshop. Proud recipient of the Princess Grace Award for Acting (Grace Le Vine Award). MFA: NYU. He is the co-writer/creator of "TEENAGE SPACESHIP" which was a finalist for the Sundance Episodic Lab.

 

Paton Ashbrook - “Taylor”

Paton Ashbrook is a Los Angeles born actor and writer, now based in New York. Currently, Paton plays ADA Jenny Sullivan on the hit Starz show, Power Book II: Ghost. Paton has been a recurring guest on “House of Cards” (Netflix), and “Shameless” (Showtime).
Other television credits include: “EVIL”, “Bull”, “Blue Bloods”, “Madam Secretary”, “The Good Fight” (CBS/CBS All Access), “Baker and the Beauty”, “Instinct” and “Reverie”(NBC). Most recently on film she stars in the sci-fi psychological thriller, Minor Premise, now streaming on HULU.

 

Audrey Hailes - “Sam”

Audrey Elaine Hailes (she/her) is a dance-theatre artist who received her BFA in Experimental Theatre from NYU. She has performed with Maria Bauman, The Dance Cartel, Paloma McGregor, Ebony Golden and Okwui Okpokwasili, amongst others. Her own choreography has been commissioned by Gibney Dance, Dance Theatre Etc, Movement Research, BAAD! and New York Live Arts. She served as assistant choreographer for Atlantic Theatre Co. and is currently choreographer and co-video editor for the NYU Abu Dhabi Reality Show. She is extremely grateful to be able to tell stories that honor ancestors and reflect the bright black future.

Daphne Ashbrook - “Missy”

Daphne Ashbrook was born into a family of actors and directors from San Diego, California. She played her first role at the age of six and continued to work in theatre throughout her childhood. As soon as she moved to Los Angeles, she began working nonstop in film and television. Some of her most memorable roles include Dr. Grace Holloway in the 1996 Doctor Who movie and Melora in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Other TV and film work include recurring roles on The O.C., JAG, Falcon Crest and Hooperman as well as guest appearances on NCIS, Law and Order, Cold Case, CSI, Crossing Jordan, Without a Trace, Murder She Wrote, Judging Amy, The Guardian, Ghost Whisperer, Diagnosis Murder, Knight Rider, and many, many more. She won a Best Supporting Actress Award at the Method Fest Independent Film Festival for her performance in the film Dumbarton Bridge. She has starred in many TV movies and Mini-Series including: Rock Hudson, where Daphne played his wife, Phyllis Gates, who wrote the book the Mini-Series was based on. Daphne also starred in the Mini- Series Intruders, with Mare Winningham and Richard Crenna, and The Love Letter, starring opposite Campbell Scott, just to name a few. She’s released two albums and a memoir about her experiences in the business called: Dead Woman Laughing – An Actor’s ‘take’ From Both Sides of the Camera. Daphne currently resides in Upstate New York.

 

Nicole Pursell - Co-Director

Nicole Pursell is an actor, production designer and filmmaker based in the Catskills. She was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and has a BFA in Drama from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. She has worked with a wide-array of artists including Tony Award winner Moisés Kaufman, Academy Award nominee Haley Osment, and Emmy Award nominee Joel Schumacher. Her feature, That's Not Us, was released as an exclusive by Strand Media after playing at over 35 festivals worldwide. Nicole also designed and stars in The Ring Thing, an improvised narrative-documentary hybrid, acquired by Gravitas Ventures. Additionally, she designed the series, Switch, directed by Stavroula Toska, as well as the feature Bite Me, a subversive romantic comedy about a real-life vampire and the IRS agent who audits her.

Bill Keller - Director of Photography

Bill is a cinematographer living in the Catskills. For a while, Bill was somewhat of a film and television journeyman - exploring roles in various departments including production management, art, grip, electric and post production. However, for the past ten years he has found a home and career in the camera department. He lenses multiple genres of film and TV - from crime to comedy - for Netflix, NBC, Comedy Central, HBO, CNN, MTV and several more.
